The members of our quartet, founded in 2005, graduated from the music academies of London, Brussels, Vienna and Budapest, gave concerts at several points of the world, but are particularly connected to the homeland of quartet, i.e. the West Pannon Region. This is the reason for choosing the name Wespa Quartet for our ensemble.
The string quartet literature has been continually enriching since the Vienna Classicism. Day by day, it gives us a great pleasure to encounter with the fantastic composers’ pieces, which always have extraordinary treasures for us to share. With our concerts and performances connected to other celebrations of our everyday life, we would like to “hand on” this strengthening beauty of chamber music.
